Built Tough, By One Who Loves Adventure

Your trailer is crafted by someone who understands the journey, not just the build.

Hi, I’m Nathan Pizzo — designer, builder, and owner of Second Wind Trailers. Every trailer you see on this site was personally handcrafted by me with care, creativity, and a passion for adventure. If there’s anything I can do to help make your next journey unforgettable, just reach out — I’d love to build something special for you.

WHY I STARTED BUILDING TRAILERS:

From a young age, I was drawn to working with my hands — a passion sparked during the rare but impactful moments I shared with my father. Despite having five kids and the constant motion of life in the 1970s, he always made space to pass down his knowledge. Whether it was walking me through the basics of engineering or carefully guiding me on how to handle a table saw safely (a lesson that left a lasting impression), those early lessons stuck with me.

My dad was more than just a parent — he was the person who first introduced me to the fulfillment that comes from creating something tangible. Though he passed away at 62 and never saw where that early influence would lead, I carry his spirit with me every time I fire up the tools and begin a new build.

Every trailer I create is, in its own quiet way, a reflection of those early experiences and a tribute to him. His influence is woven into every joint, panel, and weld — not just as craftsmanship, but as memory.

My goal isn’t just to build trailers — it’s to craft something that becomes part of your journey. Something dependable and lasting, built for freedom and exploration. Because the things we build should move us — not only forward, but toward something meaningful.

THANK YOU! Dad… You are missed every day!
